The new man on the consultancy team at Cardinus Risk Management has previously advised ITV and Warner Brothers on health and safety matters. Mark Kingston was responsible for the safety of Sandra Bullock during the filming of Gravity, last year’s multiple Oscar-winning blockbuster.
Mark joins Cardinus from a specialist office consultancy company and will add his broad expertise to the safety consultancy team led by Mark Preston. Cardinus has recently been appointed by the owners of The Shard to manage its safety systems and Mark Kingston will initially spend most of his time at the iconic London landmark.

His film and television production safety experience saw him working on drama, entertainment and factual programmes in the studio and on location. He provided health and safety training and coaching to production and non-production staff. Mark is experienced in delivering bespoke health and safety solutions specifically tailored to the client’s needs.”
Mark has worked in health and safety industry since 2008 and holds the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and the OCR Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice. He is a member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
