Cardinus’ Global Head of Managed Services, Hollie Woodhall, shares her insights on building a successful Managed Services department. In this article, she recounts the department’s remarkable growth, from supporting a mere two clients to now serving over 100, while consistently delivering exceptional ergonomic programmes that enhance employee well-being and contribute to business success.

In my role, I’m often asked why Managed Services holds such significance for me. When I joined Cardinus, we had just two Managed Services clients. I dedicated myself to working closely with them, gaining invaluable insights that helped shape new strategies to support an ever-growing client base.

Over the past 13 years, the Managed Services department has expanded to serve more than 100 clients. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with incredible partners, building strong relationships—some of which have even blossomed into lasting friendships. Together, we’ve developed and implemented exceptional ergonomic programmes tailored to each client’s unique needs, delivering remarkable results.

The Cardinus Managed Services approach offers immense value to businesses looking to maximise their investment in our Healthy Working software. By enhancing employee well-being, reducing workplace injuries, and improving productivity, we ensure compliance in regulated regions. Through customised virtual and on-site ergonomic assessments, we create safer, more comfortable work environments that reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. Our focus on compliance with health and safety regulations also protects businesses from costly legal challenges.

Our data-driven insights and scalable solutions empower organisations to maintain healthier, more efficient workforces. Investing in Managed Services with Cardinus not only safeguards employees but also results in long-term cost savings and improved business performance. I take pride in knowing that our Managed Services clients have access to the most effective ergonomics programs and consistently remain with us over the long term.

To deliver these world-class solutions, we’re privileged to partner with experts capable of conducting assessments in 191 countries. These assessments cover specialised areas such as neurodiversity, disability, and even vehicle ergonomics. Our team also includes specialists in global ergonomic regulations and health and safety auditing, providing comprehensive support to meet diverse needs. And, more recently we have moved from the office and home into the factory and warehouse with our exciting new motion capture technology solutions for industrial ergonomics.

My passion lies in helping clients implement and maintain the best ergonomics programmes worldwide. I understand that managing an ergonomics programme is often just one of many responsibilities you juggle daily. That’s why my dedicated team is here to provide seamless support, whether it’s covering sick leave, maternity leave, or temporary gaps.
